Resource Center
The FSMTB wants to ensure that consumers of massage and bodywork services have adequate knowledge about what they can expect from a massage and bodywork practitioner. Most importantly, FSMTB wants to ensure that the public is aware of the requirements for licensure for each state and that resources are available to check the license status of practitioners. Serving as the Bill Daniels Professor of Business Ethics and Legal Studies at the University of Denver, Corey Ciocchetti is one of the University’s most popular and highest-rated professors. Corey joined DU after graduating with a law degree from Duke University School of Law, a Masters degree in Religious Studies and two Bachelors degrees in Finance and Economics—summa cum laude—from the University of Denver.

The 2024 Massage Board Executive Summit was held in Savannah, Georgia on April 4-5. Guest speakers included Dr. W. Keith Campbell, a psychology professor from the University of Georgia, who discussed general differences and evolving cultural and societal trends resulting from changing demographics and their impact on educational expectations, standards, and uniformity.
